[Left in Morgana's mailbox is a painted card. The card smells of pine needles, snow and a fireplace, and features Papyrus, waving enthusiastically ahead. Somehow there's boneprint snowflakes faintly falling against the pale background. Along the header and footer, the card reads:]

[Inside, a personal message continues:]
HI MORGANA, ENJOY THE FESTIVE SNOW SEASON! THE WARM CABINS! THE WARM FOOD! THE SHOPPING! AND EVEN ARTS AND CRAFTS IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN IT, THERE'S PLENTY OF SUPPLIES AVAILABLE. BEFORE I WRAP UP THIS CARD, I NEED TO ASK... HAVE YOU EVER BEEN CHASED UP A TREE? BY A DOG? I NEED TO KNOW IF THAT'S A CAT THING! BECAUSE IT HAPPENED TO ME RECENTLY. AND THERE AREN'T ANY ROCK PEOPLE HERE TO ASK IF IT'S A ROCK THING. LET ME KNOW SOMETIME!
[Towards the end of the holiday, they will find a fancy looking gift box in his trailer with a note left on top. The handwriting is done in an over the top cursive that he might recognize as the Ringmaster's, written on aged papyrus with the ink seemingly made of shining gold.]

[Her signature is so massive and florid that it fills up the rest of the paper. When they open the box, they'll find a a mask. Wearing this mask will make Morgana look and feel like a human, though it is only a particularly potent glamour.]
[ Connie delivers a wrapped copy of "The Hard Way", A history of the long fight for independence of a nation called "Noelind." Connie has no idea if its fiction or history of a place she's never heard of.
It comes with a handwritten note from Connie: ]
