CHARACTER
Character Name: Morgana
Age: Unknown
Species: Embodiment of human hope. But his body is that of a cat. It's complicated.
Canon: Persona 5
Canon Point: Post-Game (True Ending)
Character Info: Here!
Personality: Most of Morgana's personality can be summed up as such: he's a cat. Sure he isn't actually a cat, but he might as well be.

First and foremost, Morgana is pretty full of himself. As a cat (or at least, having the form of a cat), this is probably pretty unsurprising. Even though he had only a little experience with the Metaverse before meeting the other Phantom Thieves, and even with almost complete amnesia, Morgana is still fast to put himself in the role of teacher, attempting to mentor the others with his Vast Amounts of Knowledge. He enjoys acting like he's better than the others and like he knows more than them, even when half the time he has to end his statements with "...I think" or "...Probably". This lack of certainty doesn't even matter though, because, let's face it, he's a cat. He still has a high opinion of himself even when he's wrong. This doesn't mean he doesn't know he can mess up, of course, and he does have his moments of self-doubt, but especially casually, he thinks he's pretty great. This doesn't mean he doesn't ever get down, though. In fact, if met with the fact that he really isn't as great as he says he is, he can start to doubt his usefulness, which can lead to him making rash decisions to try and prove himself. He's mostly worked past this at this point, but if he ever has reason to doubt himself it can still be a bit of a problem.

When Morgana wants something, he has no problems with telling everyone and doing whatever he can to get it. It doesn't matter if the thing is sushi, treasure, dating Ann, or to become human - he wants it and he's going to try his best to get it, and you better not get in his way. He's very determined, and unwilling to give up (except when he falls into self-doubt), always trying to push forward to accomplish what he wants - even if the path is unclear.

As the literal embodiment of human hope, Morgana is pretty damn hopeful. It's hard to get him down, and between his determination and high self-esteem, he's often peppy and cheerful. But despite how some of his attitude can make him seem rather childish, between his hope, his silly wishes, and how quick he can be to rise to an argument over something petty (like basically anything Ryuji says), he also can be a voice of reason. He generally seems to think things will turn out okay, but you still have to take it carefully, think things through, and plan - even if their plans are often somewhat haphazard, like "find a way in and steal shit". That's still a plan okay.

Abilities: Well. He's a cat. So talking counts as an ability, probably, since it's unusual in a cat. He also knows way too much about how cognition works, and about how to steal things and make a variety of useful tools. He can sense treasure to some degree, too. He has repair knowledge and whatnot also, as well as actually being capable of things like fixing cars. But other than that he has no real skills - those were all erased when they erased the Metaverse.

CARNIVAL
Soul Colour: Yellow
Ideal Jobs: Repairman and Thief! Other possibilities could be Scout, or... Who knows. He's a cat.
Relevant Experience: Thief: I mean P5 is a story about a bunch of thieves so the thief experience is probably obvious. That's been his job for the last year or so. He knows all about being sneaky, picking pockets, picking locks, and finding the best treasures. Plus he's a cat so that's probably helpful?

Repairman: Just look at this cat fixing a car. How can he even do that? How is his tail apparently prehensile and able to hold a screwdriver? Who knows, but however it's possible, Morgana can do it. Somehow Morgana is good at fixing things, and making things - he's the one who teaches the protagonist how to make a variety of thieves' tools such as lockpicks, smoke bombs, and even regular bombs. Even in cat form (his only form now) he's still able to do all sorts of tasks you'd usually think you'd need hands or opposable thumbs for. Like picking locks or repairing cars.

Others: Many jobs may be difficult due to his small size and shape, but he's good at things like stealth and investigation - a good chunk of time in the Phantom Thieves was spent finding covert ways in to heavily guarded locations, with the heist itself just being at the end. So something like Scout would also work job-wise, or... Anything where his size isn't a problem.
Reason for Joining: Escaping the Prince - although also he wants to try and find a way to become human, and honestly hanging around a magical Carnival where workers are transformed seems like a great way to figure that out.
